Flow for Glencore Technology: Entering China with true Localization

1 min read February 11, 2026

We are proud to share how we applied our localization expertise to support @Glencore Technology, a global leader in innovative mining solutions, in its strategic and localized entry into the Chinese market.

Succeeding in China requires more than translation. It demands true localization, adapting tone, messaging, visuals, platforms, and digital infrastructure to local expectations. That’s exactly what we delivered.

For Glencore Technology’s website localization, we adapted design, content, and video to resonate with Chinese audiences, localized marketing brochures for the local market, implemented Chinese SEO for long-term visibility, and supported ICP licensing and digital infrastructure to guarantee full regulatory compliance. The result is a fully localized website that strengthens brand credibility and speaks directly to China’s mining and industrial sector.

In parallel, we established and localized Glencore Technology’s WeChat presence, including official account creation, mini-site design, localized content development, and ongoing account promotion and management. By aligning communication style, visuals, and platform functionality with Chinese user behavior, we enabled seamless engagement and sustainable growth on China’s most important business channel.

A few words from Michael Feng:

“@Flow Asia published our website and ensured our WeChat account ran smoothly. The platform has worked very well, and we’ve already received three requests for quotes (RFQs) through it. Flow Asia managed the project efficiently and responded promptly. The team has a smart approach to solving problems whenever we face challenges and communicated clearly through in-person and virtual meetings, as well as email updates.”
